Dolphin Organics Bubble Bath

Welcome back to Mommy Hates Chemicals!! We took a little hiatus to handle all the publicity Jamie's Time Magazine Breastfeeding cover generated, but we are baaack and ready to review more Natural Products!

This week we are reviewing Dolphin Organics Bubble Bath in the Simply Citrus scent.

We are a bath-taking family. Bubble bath is a big deal to us. (don't judge!)
I normally use L'Occitane Bubble Bath in Lavender.
The boys use California Baby.
I was a skeptic when I brought home Dolphin Organics Bubble Bath. Natural bubble baths are known for not being "bubbly" enough, and the smell never seems to appeal to me. When I saw it was citrus I was sure I wouldn't like it (not my favorite scent for a relaxing bath).
Well, Dolphin Organics totally proved me wrong! The citrus smell was not only pleasant, it was delicious! And boy did it get bubbly:

I was such a fan I started using it for my own baths. Between the boys almost daily baths and my nightly baths, we were out of Dolphin Bubble bath in a few weeks.
Time to by some more!
And for that I am giving Dolphin Organics Bubble Bath 5 out of 5 leaves!

I too was very skeptical about how well a natural bubble bath would work. Out of the 5 of us, only one still takes baths. (my daughter) She really loves her bubble bath, so she agreed to help us test it out.

Bottom Line: Despite the fact that Daddy made the bath water too hot, there's no doubt that the bubbles had better staying power than even the regular bubble bath we have been using. Marlie takes long baths, and the bubbles stayed until the very end of the bath, something none of the other bubble baths did.

And for that, I give Dolphin Organics a five out of five leaves!

That give the combined score of Dolphin Organics Bubble Bath a 10 out of 10 leaves!

  1. It seems Dolphin Organics makes great products! I take baths every night as well and my son still enjoys a bubble bath like any 6 year old. I think I'll be buying this to go with the lotion.

Love you guys and glad you're back.

  2. Ladies, no offense but that was a rather lame welcome back review. Is it merely organic, or natural, or both? What's the diff? Is it sulfate free? What are the ingredients? Can you describe the scent? How did it leave your skin feeling? Come on, ladies! What a disappointing review. Boo.

    1. You gotta love comments that start out with "no offense but", which means someone is going to be rude.

In our post, we provided the link directly to the company product, which lists the ingredients. You are more than welcome to click that link and find out what it contains. The company describes it as "Our Simply Citrus™ Bubble Bath is hypoallergenic and tear free. Certified by QAI and NSF, our vegan bubble bath soothes skin while you soak in a luxurious blend of citrus extracts." (which can also be found by clicking the link provided.)

We also stated that we were using it in the Simply Citrus scent, which is the same scent as the Dolphin Organics lotion we previously reviewed. In that review (see side bar) we went into detail about the scent of the lotion and did not feel it necessary to repeat ourselves.

My apologies that our comeback review was not up to your standards.
